Giannone Petricone Associates (GPA) is a Toronto based architecture firm who recently re-branded. They were in need of a temporary landing page to showcase this new visual identity while the full site was in development, especially as they felt their old website not only no longer reflected who they were but misrepresented their abilities and strengths as a firm.
The main goal of the landing page was to highlight the beauty and diversity of their work through project photography along with their primary philosophy/tagline “From the Spoon to the City” and contact information. This focus on imagery influenced the decision to use a sliding drawer to contain their tagline and contact info, allowing for maximum image space and makes their project photography the focal point upon page load at all screen sizes.
